Meet Cassie! This poor girl was tied up on a heavy chain and abandoned after her owners were evicted. She was found starving and emaciated, covered in fleas and ticks. We have spent months getting Cassie healthy with a loving foster. Cassie is now quite chunky and will need someone to help her manage her weight. She will chatter her teeth for treats to convince you she needs whatever you are snacking on! Cassie does fantastic with other dogs. From young and rambunctious to old and blind. Cassie is respectful of space and enjoys just hanging around with other dogs. We call her an adorable little cow, a land seal, she is a velcro dog that is super chill energy wise. She will follow her foster mom all around the house, waiting for her next free meal and scratch behind the ear. Cassie wags her tail in her sleep, she’s so happy and adorable. She also loves her swimming pool and spending time in the sunshine. She is very loving with people and children. Cassie will be the very best family member and deserves a family who will love and cherish her as much in return. Spay, microchip, and current vaccines all included in her adoption fee.
Cassie’s rescue is based in Boise, but she is available for direct adoption throughout the PNW with transport at no extra charge.
