Adorable Avalon is seeking a family of her own! Avalon is around 2.5 years old and is an adventure loving girl with a big heart! Avalon loves snuggling under the blankets, relaxing at home, and going for walks. She has done a lot of hiking, camping, and even knows how to paddleboard! Avalon has lived in an apartment for the past year where she is respectful and quiet. Avalon has done well with some younger puppies, but gets frustrated with older dogs and we aren’t quite sure what makes her like or dislike certain dogs. She would do best placed as an only dog. She enjoys all of the attention and does fine on her own. Avalon doesn’t have separation anxiety and is used to being at home during the day while her previous family worked. She joined our rescue at about 10 months old from an overcrowded Texas shelter and was adopted, but recently returned due to her adopter having housing issues. Avalon has partially torn cruciates in her knees that are being managed with pain medication and supplements. TPLO surgery will be covered under her adoption. We have no issues with this surgery and are always happy that we have it done. It works great. Unfortunately she is in a boarding situation now and recovering in that environment would not be the best choice for her. She desperately needs an angel that will accept her for the loving goofball she is, stick by her whenever times are tough, and will be by her side through her TPLO repair. She is a wonderful girl and we are excited to find her a forever home. Due to her surgery we will be adopting her out within an hour of Boise.
Spay, current vaccines, microchip, and TPLO included in her adoption fee. Please start with the adoption application: freedomboundhounds.com/adopt
